How do I locate a pet?
Use the
Search button found on the main page to perform a search by name.
You can also narrow your search by category such as "Cat" or "Dog".
How do I save a pet for quick lookup?
Once you've located your pet (and you'll be provided a direct link after puchasing a plot) view the epitaph.
At the bottom of the epitaph there will be link that reads "Store this Pet for quick lookup".
Click this link to store a cookie on your computer.
Each time you come back to the site you'll have a quick link on the left right to your pet's story.
How much does it cost to have my pet listed?
Each plot is $15 USD in the standard sections ($25 USD in the reflecting pool areas of which there are 5 out of the 100 sections).
You may purchase adjacent plots to create a larger plot.
Note that 50% of net proceeds are donated to
The Humane Society of the United States.
Not only do you get a place for your pet but you also help out a worthy organization.
How long will my pet remain listed?
For the life of this site.
You plot, once purchased, is yours and will never be removed or resold.
So long as we cover the cost of maintaining the site we'll keep it running.
Currently we'll be running at least through 2010 (likely much, much longer).
