Instructions
The purpose of this site is to provide a common area to share our memories of pets we have lost.
Pets are a big part of our lives and we believe it is important to keep their sprit alive by providing a glimpse into their life and tell how they affected our life.
We encourage you to read the stories posted and hope you enjoy your stay.
Our virtual pet cemetery is divided into 100 sections.
This image is the overview of all 100 sections.
There are 10 sections going across and 10 going down in a 10x10 pattern.
To visit any particular section, move your mouse pointer over the image and click.
A yellow outline for the section will be shown where your mouse is located.
A link at the bottom of the home page allows you to overlay all the markers on the overview picture.
The markers will be small at this level but you can move around without going into each section individually.
Six sections are special in that they have an image of a reflecting pool in them.
These areas are denoted by the animal embossed stones in the overview image.
The sections are further divided into smaller parcels or plots.
Each section contains 10 plots across and 20 down.
The sections with the reflecting pools have fewer plots as the actual area where the pool is located is not available.
Pet markers are placed in the sections scaled to the size of the plot purchsed.
You may click on any marker to read the epitath for that pet.
You may purchase one or more plots for your pet or as a gift for someone you know who has lost a pet.
The area you select must be open (no other pet markers placed there) and must be square or rectangular in shape.
There are no special sections denoted for any particular pets so feel free to visit any or all sections when deciding where to locate your pet.
You are welcome to pre-purchase an area or additional areas and we will reserve them for you.
Once your area has been purchased it becomes your place on the site and will never be removed for the life of the site.
The story page contains a picture (if provided) and the text you supply.
Each story also contains a link to save the story and pet marker location for the next time you visit.
The main page will show your pet's name that you can click to go right to your epitaph.
You can also click the section number next to the name to bring up that section with the pet's marker highlighted on the page for you.
The search page allows you to search for your pet or the name of any pet.
You can also get a listing by category such as "Cat" or "Dog".
We hope you'll find this a comfortable setting to share your pet's story for yourself, family and all those who stop by to visit.
